Circular Hollow Altered Vase

This asymmetrical vase is hand thrown on a potter’s wheel and then carefully altered to achieve the piece's asymmetrical belly effect. After firing, the vase is hand-dipped in the white glaze from the inside to withhold water and is dip glazed on the outside to in subtle shades of blue. This vase can be used to hold flowers or simply can be displayed as a statement piece on a shelf.
 
**Process**
Vase is thrown on the pottery wheel from stoneware clay. After a period of drying, the form is decided and applied. The bottom is smoothed & stamped with the Frickery Frackery Pottery logo. All pieces are lead-free, food safe, microwave and dishwasher safe plus high-fired for long-lasting strength and durability.
