Learn to use the potter's wheel to turn clay into vases, bowls, and mugs. Newcomers to this class will learn to center clay, throw basic forms, trimming, glazing and finishing techniques. Returning students will improve throwing and decorating skills and create pieces that are more complex. With a focus on developing pottery skills, this class is tailored to students' individual skill levels.

Classes run for 1 day per week for 5 weeks.

Classes limited to 6 students

Clay, glaze, firing & tools included in class.

Low enrollment will lead to class cancellation and a refund will be given in full. The studio cannot be responsible if accidents or breakage occur. Any work older than two months, or when open studio membership expires, will be considered abandoned and will be trash, donated or recycled.
