Working with clay is simply satisfying to my soul
My mind is always buzzing with ideas for creative designs, but I'm all about letting things flow naturally. Life has a way of throwing events at us that can change our path, and for me, creating pottery was a game-changer. I used to be in the corporate side of the art world up in the northeast for years. But now, I've made the move to North Carolina and taken the plunge to become a full-time ceramic artist. I've even started my own pottery studio, "Frickery Frackery Pottery." What I thought would be just a fun hobby has turned into an all-consuming passion. I opened up "Frickery Frackery Pottery" with the hope of enriching our community and providing a creative outlet that people of all ages can enjoy. Working with clay is not only a fantastic way to let your creativity run wild but it's also a great stress-buster, mood-lifter, and an excellent remedy for reducing anxiety and depression. Lately, I've been working on pieces that reflect my life experiences, pouring color, texture, fun, and joy into my creations. The desire to take things to the next level keeps me going, and I've learned to find humor in life's little quirks. I can't wait to see the beautiful, one-of-a-kind creations that will come out of this journey. "Life is hard, pottery helps." - Tracy
